Electric hair removal or electrolysis

 

Electrical hair removal is a complementary treatment to laser hair removal.

It can treat the residual hair after an effective laser treatment. In several circumstances it can also bring several benefits such as:

 

• Effective treatment of red, blond, white and gray hair.
• Effective treatment of paradoxical hair stimulation (hair growth after laser treatment).
• The capacity of treating all types of hair and skin color
• There absents of contraindications with sun exposure and tanning. This treatment can be carried out throughout the year.
• In the case of lack of response to an appropriate laser therapy.
• The effective treatment of small areas.

 

 

The electric hair removal session :

 

The area to be treated is disinfected and defined.  The electrolysis involves introducing a thin filament into the hair follicle to destroy the germ cells. The hair must be in the active phase (anagen) for the session to be effective. Sometimes several sessions are needed to treat all the present follicles during the anagen phase.

Herpes, dermatitis or other infection at the treated area.
